Yet Another Windows 7 reminder

I know we’ve written about this a bunch, but we know that everyone hasn’t acted yet. Windows 7 support ends in a little over a month on Jan. 14, 2020.

This means no more updates to your system, and most updates at this point are for security purposes. Therefore, it will be dangerous to use your Windows 7 machine on the internet after the cutoff date. You will be more susceptible to scams, hacks and viruses because of this change.

There is still a little bit of time for you to act, but we really recommend getting this taken care of as quickly as possible. You can bring your machine in and we can see if it can be updated to Windows 10, or we can let you know if you should just replace your computer.

We have new and refurbished laptops and desktops for sale here in our store if you do need to replace your machine. If you don’t find that any of the computers we have in stock fit your needs we can order a computer that will.

If you are wondering if your computer can be upgraded to Windows 10, just give us a call or bring your machine in and we can tell you if it should be upgraded or replaced. If you have any questions about the change give us a call or stop by.
