Customize Windows 10

Most, if not all, Windows 10 machines come equipped with the standard background picture and color scheme. While this is just fine for most people, there are some who would like to have a special picture or color scheme on their computer that really appeals to them.

To change some of these settings all you have to do is right click in a blank area on your desktop where there are no icons and select Personalize. The first page it will bring you to is your background. Here you can change the background picture to one that is already on the computer from Microsoft or you can go in and choose a picture from your photos that you like and set it as your background.

There are also other options, such as creating a slide show, or setting your background to be a solid color. Play around with these settings and see what you like best.

On the left side of the Personalization screen there are other different aspects of Windows 10 that you can customize, such as Colors, your Lock Screen, etc. The Colors section allows you to change what color certain Start and Menu items are. There are many colors to choose from, so pick the one that’s right for you.

In the Lock Screen section, you can change what picture shows up when you sign in to your computer and you can even have certain apps show what they call a Quick Status. Those apps include the Calendar, Mail, Clock/Alarm and more.

Windows 10 has many different personalization settings because you should be able to make your computer really feel like it’s yours, and what better way to do that than by adding your pictures and choosing color schemes that you like.
