Another Windows 7 reminder

By now I’m sure most of you, if not all of you, have heard that Windows 7 is ending support on January 14, 2020. Many have contacted us about the change, or have already come in and upgraded your machine or replaced your machine to one with Windows 10. We know all of you haven’t though and this column is just to remind you that it is best to upgrade or replace your computer before this cutoff date, preferably way before the cutoff date.

If you’re not sure if your machine can take the Windows 10 upgrade we can take a look at it and determine that for you, but most times it will likely require replacing the machine. We have a wide range of desktops and laptops, new and used, in our store that will be good replacements for your computer. If you have a specific set of specifications that you want in a computer we can certainly look and see if we can order one for you, if we don’t have it on hand already. Every new and used machine we have is already running Windows 10.

As a reminder, if you are on Windows 8 or 8.1 you do not have to worry about upgrading to Windows 10, or replacing your machine. Windows 8 isn’t the greatest operating system in the world, but it is still supported until 2023. If you have any questions about upgrading or replacing give us a call.
